Baby Eden and her favorite Auntie

Baby Eden and her Bac Thu-Anh
I can kiss those cheeks every day!
Baby Eden loves her Auntie Grace! Just an update on my baby girl: she's doing well and already making a lot of different face expressions. She has a very strong neck and is able to hold her own. It's really cute because she was a little bobble head for the first week and a half. I love getting the help of my sister and my mom. They're totally helpful with the baby. Auntie Grace or should I say Bac Thu-Anh (I'll probably get Eden to call her that though my sister hates it, I'll go into that later) loves holding Baby Eden. She won't change the baby's diapers but she told me, "If you need me to get her to sleep, that's my job. Baby Eden is my security blanket." I'll walk into the room and see Eden sleeping on my sister's chest. It's so adorable and they're both knocked out. Having the extra hands is so nice with the baby especially when I'm exhausted from feeding her. It's nice to just hand Eden over to my mom or sister to burp her.
Dressin' her up!

I decided that I wanted to teach Baby Eden some Vietnamese; just the basic greetings, hello, thank-you. I want her to understand it at the very least so I've been trying to talk to her in Vietnamese. I'll say short phrases or call her grandma or her auntie by their Vietnamese name. Since my sister is the oldest in our immediate family, her Vietnamese title in relation to Baby Eden is Bac Thu-Anh. However, my sister for some old reason doesn't like to be called that and wants Eden to call her Aunt Gracie! I told my sister that if I was the oldest, I'd want her to call me that because it's a sign of respect. She wouldn't have it. Hopefully if I continue to call her that, it'll sink in. Since Baby Eden is half Vietnamese/half Mexican, it'll be nice for her to understand both languages though I would prefer her to speak Spanish because it'll be useful later on for her. We shall see! Baby Eden can be trilingual!
Daddy says this is her concerned face! So adorable!
