Happy 8 Months, my crawler!

Eden was precisely 8 months yesterday so I guess I'm a day late at posting this. Sorry guys! I've been extremely busy with work, school, and everything in between that by the end of the day, I'm too exhausted to update my blog. Anywho, enough of me making excuses.

I'm so excited to share with you all that Eden is officially a crawler. She's had the courage to leap on her belly and start crawling. It's pretty funny watching her because she actually looks like a centipede when she crawls. Her booty is in the air as she adjust her weight to her arms and then back to her legs.

Though we all guessed that she was going to bypass the crawler stage, she surprised us all. You see, she's already standing and walking with assist. I didn't think she had any desire to crawl because she would whine when we put her on her stomach. But I'm really glad that she did. It's so fun watching her explore and she's already getting into everything. I really wish I can freeze time right now and live these moments for a precious second longer because before you know it, she's going to be running.

Life goes by way too quick and my baby is growing up! I dont even want to think about it but all I know is my darling Eden, you make Mommy so proud!

Love is...

a happy childhood. I miss the carefree days when we were in grade school. You know, the days where you rode your bike around the neighborhood and wrote with chalk on the sidewalk. Reminiscing on the childhood I had really made me think about how blessed I am to be able to grow up free-spirited. Now, having my own baby, I want Eden to have the same opportunities I did.

Today I took Eden to the Disney store and I told her she could pick out one plushie toy. I brought her to the back of the store where it's literally childhood paradise. I kid you not, all the kids come in running to the back of the store because they know that's where all the good toys are at. I don't blame them! Plus, there's even a huge screen on the wall that play clips of old Disney movies. Eden's eyes were beaming when she saw the plush dolls. I got a bit emotional just watching her play. She chose to take Pooh Bear home with her and I could resist the Stitch doll.

Eden is my Valentine this year. She fills my heart with love. I absolutely adore her for everything she is and will become. She's the perfect little Cupid!
