Soooo not my day!!!!! :(

Made my day! A bookworm just like her mommy!

Amazed at Grandpa
I just love her!
My favorite part of the day: tucking her in at night

I was so excited for today. I had everything planned from the early morning to evening. My morning was amazing. I already knew from the moment Baby Eden woke up, she was going to have a good day. She woke up with a smile so I couldn't ask for anything better. She took her naps throughout the day and pretty much hung out with me while I was doing chores. In the afternoon, I had a lunch date with my bestie, Erica whom I haven't seen in a long while. She also hasn't seen Baby Eden yet so we were all due for a meet up. Eden, Erica, and I all went to Jumba Juice and we got to catch up on old times. We reminisced in the past and talked about our plans for the future. Oh how I miss girl talk with my bestie! Baby Eden on the other hand fell asleep on us the entire time we were out. How like her! She loves to sleep.

That evening, I had a night class at Fresno City College. I was super excited to be starting school again. Anyone who knows me well would tell you that I would much rather study than actually go to work. I just love school. The night before I was stoked to be packing my backpack and made sure I had enough colored pens, highlighters, and notebook for class. I was waitlisted for a comm class a few months early but received an email that I was enrolled so I was sure that I had one class down. I arrived 15 minutes early for class which started at 6PM. It literally felt like the first day of high school where everyone was crowding around the classroom door. It felt like no one wanted to be there but they were forced by the parents to go. I went inside and the professor walked in 5 minutes later. What caught me by surprised was that she pulled out her roster and started calling out names. I was taken back because it took 15 minutes. They definitely don't do that in large lecture halls at UCLA. When the professor does that, you can't help to try to match the names with the faces. I got caught up in looking at people's faces as she called their names. I didn't even noticed until the end that she didn't even call out my name.

Then there was the waitlisted people who are eagerly waiting to see if there were the "no shows" on the roster. There were five people who didn't show up so the first five people on the waitlisted were automatically enrolled in the course. No fair! For some reason, I wasn't even on the waiting list. I totally got screwed. To make matters worse, I had to take the walk of shame out of the classroom! It was SO EMBARRASSING to walk out but I didn't leave without a fight. I went up to the professor and explained to her that I received an email saying I was enrolled in the class. She looked on her roster and said that she didn't even see my name on either the roster or the waitlist. Totally screwed! I told her that I can forward the email that I received and if she would allow me to get into the class. The professor told me to try her other section and hope that someone would drop. The worst part was that I had to walk out of the classroom as the entire class stared. So not my day! Enrolling in community college class is 10X harder than enrolling in a UC course. I was so upset! If you don't get in, you have to wait until the next semester to enroll, not 10 weeks! They need to fix the enrollment process. I came home disappointment and my mother could tell. I was in class for 15 minutes of roll call and when I got back home, I've emailed my professor. Hopefully I'll hear a response back soon.

That evening totally lag but Baby Eden made me feel better! I gave her a bath and she was playing with her rubber ducky and babbling. It made my day because she was having so much fun! Eden does that a lot. She can bring a smile to my face when I'm feeling the worst. So thank you baby for saving my day! :)
